Ah the 1960's. I always figured it would have been a good era to live in. Not be born in but to be a woman during that era. The era of slim trousers, cigarettes. Cocktails and well kept lawns. Have a handsome young man with tousled hair and thick framed eyeglasses carry you effortlessly in one arm. Funny to think that by this age, in that era, I'd probably be married. Was it all about love, alcohol and a beautiful facade you called home? My grandmother would answer yes. Things change so much, so drastically, in so little time. All I know is that I still love being in love, taking in some liquid courage, and being surrounded by a beautiful facade I call my home. So if you think about it, inner desire never really changes from generation to generation...
